What Blepharoplasty Cannot Do

Diminish, but not eliminate dark circles.

bullet

Eliminate all the fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes.

Change sagging eyebrows.

How is it Done?

Upper Eyelid Surgery

The surgeon marks the incisions in the lid creases along the natural folds to keep scars as invisible as possible. Incisions are made and excess fat, muscle, and loose skin are removed.

Fine sutures are used to close the incisions and minimize any visibility of scars.

Lower Eyelid Surgery

A completely invisible incision is made behind the eyelid to remove the excess fat causing puffiness. An incision can be made in an inconspicuous site along the lash line of the lower lid to remove excess skin, if necessary. The skin is then closed with fine sutures.

The information available about this procedure is extensive.  It will be covered fully by Dr. Anderson during your consultation.
